The footbridge at Ballin Drive in Toowoomba spans over one of Toowoomba's Detention Basins that will be used should there be an event like what Toowoomba saw in January of 2011. The footbridge spans 25 metres and can withstand up to a massive 5 metres per second flood velocity.
