Our Pinkenba Cement grinding facility has the capacity to grind 1.3 million tonnes of product a year. By using a vertical roller mill with 150,000 tonnes of raw material on site and a NATA-accredited laboratory, we can offer high quality custom blends.
Every tonne we produce is held to the same high standards whether it’s supplying a Wagners concrete plant or a customer. We’re proud of our technical capabilities and service. If you need help with an order or mix design, you’ll speak to a local representative – someone who’ll understand your operation, no matter the size or scale and has been supporting our customers since we opened in 2009. Our two cement facilities are located in Pinkenba (Brisbane) and Townsville.
Our cement products
Wagners produces General Purpose (GP), High Early Strength (HE), Shrinkage Limited (SL), Sulphate Resistant (SR) and General Blended cements in flyash (GBF) and slag blends (GBS and HSC), with custom blend ratios available. Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS) is also available as a supplementary cementitious material.
All products are manufactured to AS3972 and tested by our on-site NATA-accredited laboratory team before being delivered via an ISO container and/or pneumatic powder tanker.
Bulk Powder
Bulk cement is delivered by tanker or ISO directly to concrete batch plants, road stabilisation projects and large-scale construction sites. The full Wagners cement range is available in bulk, including custom blends produced to your specification.
20kg Bags
Supplied to hardware stores, landscape yards and trade suppliers across Queensland and NSW, our 20kg bags are suited to small-scale building, repair and landscaping projects. They are available in General Purpose Cement and Builders Cement.
Bulk Bags
Our 1 and 1.5 tonne bulk bags are designed for operations without bulk silo infrastructure – commonly used by smaller regional concrete plants and remote project sites across Queensland and further afield. All products within the cement range are available in 1 and 1.5 tonne bulk bags.
