Wagners prefabricated the bridge in two sections at the Toowoomba factory and managed its delivery and installation during a controlled shut-down of Manly Road.
Wagners CFT bridge deck minimised cost and traffic interruptions by eliminating the need to replace the existing abutments. The entire install, from original structure removal to open traffic was three days.Design, certification, fabrication, and installation of a timber bridge for the Brisbane City Council. At half the weight of an equivalent concrete design, the new composite fibre bridge delivered significant cost savings to the client.
